A very polite young lady with a great smile, Amari Smith loves working with numbers.  But she is quick to tell you she doesn't want to be an accountant; she has her eyes on a legal career. "I want to be the first African American woman to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States!"

In her spare time, grader Amari likes swimming, volleyball and tennis. She is also a cheerleader for the Circle Rock Cougars. She also likes to read, recently finishing a very suspenseful story entitled Buddy is a Stupid Name for a Girl. "It left me with a happy ending."

Amari likes Catalyst School Circle Rock because of its great teachers. "The people really care about you. They want you to learn." She is looking toward enrollment in Whitney Young Magnet High School. "I went to their open house and love their curriculum."
