First Two Weeks - Driving Toward Success

The Catalyst Schools
Sep 16, 2010

September 7, 2010 was the first day of classes for both Catalyst schools.  Last year enrollment hovered in the 700 student range.  This year it is closer to the 1000 student mark - a huge increase in numbers.  Yet new teachers, staff and students transferring from other schools seemed to find a home at the Catalyst Schools beginning with the first day.  The first two weeks have established the procedures, the climate, and the routines that will be the highway upon which staff and students will drive toward success.  Rigor, Results, Relationship and Hope are the core values that are the backbone of the Catalyst Schools.  Along with the six character traits (Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship) the culture of the school is taking ever deeper root.  Come to Catalyst and see what's happening.
