“If I could create a tag line for Teleigha, it would be “The Comeback Kid!” Teleigha has truly grown these past few months I have had the honor of working with her. In combination with myself and her family she has learned self-control and self-restraint. While some may consider it acceptable to talk back and speak disrespectfully to adults, she has made it her mission to self-correct and dedicate herself to embedding the pillars of character into her everyday interactions with myself and her classmates. She has taken ownership of her education. Teleigha problem solves before she asks questions and takes the initiative to collaborate with like-minded students. Teleigha has proven herself to be both an analytical and critical thinker; often making connections and pulling out key ideas without being prompted. She is responsible for her actions and her classwork. She is caring enough to help her classmates out when they need it. She is trustworthy. She is honest and she is fair. If Catalyst represents “change” then Teleigha is in the perfect place because she has truly proven herself a change agent!”
