Howland Charter Students Busy with Test-Taking

Students at the Catalyst Schools—Howland Charter just finished taking the ISAT and STEP exams, the annual State of Illinois benchmark tests that will tell the school how well it is doing in helping the students grow academically.
The ISAT and STEP exams measure results compared to state standards and show Howland Charter’s growth compared with local neighborhood schools and with all the schools in the school district.
The ISAT is the test that is taken by grades three through eight and the STEP is the test that is administered to grades kindergarten through third.
