Catalyst-Maria Conducts Parent Orientation

Over 700 people attended the Parent Orientation at the new Catalyst-Maria Charter School, 6727 S. California Ave. on Saturday, April 28, 2012.  The 1000 seat auditorium was filled to near capcity as the new elementary school and high school principals conducted the first ever parent orientation for the new campus. 

Principal List and Principal Sandoval met and greeted both parents and young kindergartners at the door as family members arrived for breakfast.  Following early morning coffee and bagles the new Catalyst community moved to the auditorium where they met some of the new elementary and high school teachers and staff who will be working with their children. 

Prior to the presentation, and after, parents had opportunity to interact with the principals and other Catalyst staff to discuss policies and procedures and to finish the enrollment process.
