Work With Catalyst

Catalyst Schools Chicago educators are motivated and supported to improve student success. Teaching by example, our teachers model positive behaviors of self-respect, self-confidence and responsibility. Faculty and staff work to build relationships with the students based on a foundation of cooperation, trust and partnership. Team teaching and “going the extra mile” are critical components of our approach.

All faculty and staff participate in formal professional development programs designed to sustain a school culture of open communication, quality instruction and collaborative peer relationships. These quarterly seminars provide teachers with guidance and support around:

  • Fulfilling the Mission and Vision

  • Curriculum Development

  • Behavior Management Strategies
